"I attended my first Breathwork Session with Anna on September 22. I wasn't really quite sure what to expect. I had heard all the hype about how different methods of breathing could help your health, anxiety, pain in certain cases, release stuck emotions..
I have to laugh because I was a little apprehensive about 'making a mistake' - when breathing ?? lol. Anna explained how the workshop would work since it was the first time doing this for the other students , she explained each type of breath we would do during the workshop, she explained it clearly, gently, no pressure - don't worry about doing it wrong ! She told us that stuck emotions could come up, some people cry, some people laugh. I didn't think breathing could invoke this..but I was wrong. She led us gently through the mediations and breathing, I think the 'intensity' of the breathing was helped by the music that was playing in the background, at least it was for me. I went through a gamut of thoughts, including - going through my mental "to do" list at first - this is normal I think. For me there were two sides to what I experienced - emotional and physical. I started the session with a high level of pain in my hip and leg, and ended with a level of pain much diminished. I'd say it went from a 10 - > 4. The other side was emotional, trauma / feelings that had been stuck for a long time just popped up. I thought I had dealt with these and they were 'in the box' .
I would suggest to anyone go do this, for the guidance, for the knowledge, for the experience that will probably change your mind if you've never done a breathing workshop, and if you have done these workshops before you'll want to come back !"

“Yesterday, I went to a breathing meditation session for the first time. It was a very interesting experience—a mix of struggling to focus and feeling pleasantly calm. So, I thought, “I need to try this again to really feel it.”
But the real magic 🪄 happened when I got home! My energy level was incredibly high—I felt so grounded and present, and I had the deepest sleep ever.
I’m a full-time mum with a two-year-old, and I’d say I’m quite active. I walk with my daughter twice a day, covering about 4–6 km almost every day. Normally, I’m completely shattered by 8 pm. In fact, before the session, we had already walked 5 km!
But for the first time in three years, I actually had so much energy that I wanted to go out with my girlfriends 🤣 (Of course, I stayed home for bedtime stories instead.)
